Ooh, Piper and I will have to go when we visit. We've gone to one in Portland that actually uses a large scale model train to move the food. There's nothing that tops salmon sashimi in her meal choices.
But wait!! I finally went there (twice...don't tell my husband). The sushi that the keep on the conveyor belt is no better than Kroger deli sushi (which is good enough for me when I live three minutes from the place). If you want real raw fish sushi, you've gotta order it separately. I didn't order anything, but saw some, and it looks like pre-made stuff.
It is still pretty damn cool that Ypsilanti has katienzushi, but I predict the place isn't going to last long. (It's run by a Chinese couple, as well.)
Oh! I can't wait! Yes, lower quality in Japan, but the Maru-zushi joint in Kyoto was our favorite place. Yum!

I don't know what my point is.
Happy New Year!
