Herne's Daughter was a really amazing painting for me. I literally completed the figure in 8 hours... some of the most intense hours of my entire life. I was riveted - couldn't let go of the brush. After that, I spent every odd minute biting my nails until I could get back to it and finish. I have never been so nervous about a painting as when I applied that airbrush over top of the finished piece... tremble tremble... it's a sheer wonder I held it straight enough to finish.
